The role
Job description
Markage is looking for a Designer to join our fully remote Canadian team. This role focuses on creating visual design across brand, campaign, presentation, and digital assignments. You will develop concepts and finished design work from briefs, existing brand systems, and team direction. The role includes both original design and practical production, so good judgment and careful execution are equally important. You will work with senior designers, design directors, strategists, producers, client teams, and digital specialists. Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and careful work are expected. AI-assisted tools may be used for research, reference development, image exploration, content preparation, production checks, and presentation support. All AI-assisted work must be reviewed for accuracy, relevance, confidentiality, and fit before it is shared or used.

- Prepare accurate final files and coordinate practical handoffs for production or implementation.
- Maintain organized working files, versions, links, and reusable assets.
- Review assigned work for visual consistency, content accuracy, and production readiness.
Essential requirements
- Practical design experience demonstrated through a portfolio, employment, freelance work, internships, or substantial projects.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, or comparable professional design tools.
