Job description
Markage is looking for a Client Success Manager to join our fully remote U.S. team. You will own the ongoing relationship with a portfolio of small-business clients who use our Studio Access and productized marketing services. Your focus is retention, satisfaction, clear communication, and identifying natural opportunities to expand the relationship when it genuinely serves the client. You will work closely with internal design, content, and strategy teams to make sure delivery stays aligned with client expectations. Clear communication, reliable follow-through, and careful work are expected. AI-assisted tools may be used for note-taking, summarizing client calls, drafting follow-up messages, and organizing account information. All AI-assisted work must be reviewed for accuracy, relevance, confidentiality, and fit before it is shared or used.
Essential duties
- Own the day-to-day relationship for an assigned portfolio of Studio Access and productized marketing clients.
- Conduct regular check-ins to understand client goals, satisfaction, and any emerging needs.
- Identify at-risk accounts early and take clear, timely action to protect retention.
- Coordinate with internal design, content, and strategy teams to keep delivery aligned with client expectations.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience managing client relationships in a customer success, account management, or client services role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable owning a portfolio of accounts and driving retention outcomes.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States.
- Holds a valid Dex Professional Specialist Certification (DEX-PSP) or Dex Management Group Manager Certification (DEX-MGM) in the Sales & Customer Success domain.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience supporting small-business or agency clients.
- Familiarity with marketing, branding, or creative services.
- Experience using CRM or client success tools.
- Comfort working with cross-functional creative and strategy teams.
