Job description

Markage is hiring a VP of US Operations to lead the United States business.\n\nThis is a senior general management role with full responsibility for the commercial and operational performance of the U.S. market. You will oversee Sales, Client Success, Studio Operations, and People Operations, and be accountable for revenue growth, client retention, delivery quality, and overall organizational health.\n\nYou will lead the U.S. leadership team, set clear operating standards, and ensure that the different functions work together effectively. The role requires strong commercial judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to build and lead a high-performing team in a fully remote environment.\n\nSuccess in this position will be measured by the growth, quality, and stability of the U.S. business.

Essential duties

  • Own responsibility for the overall performance of the U.S. market, including revenue, retention, and operational quality.
  • Lead the U.S. leadership team across Sales, Client Success, Studio Operations, and People Operations.
  • Establish clear operating standards, rhythms, and accountability across the U.S. organization.
  • Ensure strong coordination between Sales, Client Success, and Delivery so clients receive a consistent experience.
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth while maintaining delivery standards and client satisfaction.
  • Provide accurate and timely visibility into performance and key risks to company leadership.
  • Build and develop a strong leadership team capable of supporting continued growth.
  • Maintain a culture of ownership, professionalism, and high standards across the U.S. organization.

Essential requirements

  • Proven experience as a VP, General Manager, or equivalent with ownership of a business unit, region, or major market.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple functions and deliver commercial and operational results.
  • Track record of growing a service or professional services business while maintaining quality.
  • Strong commercial judgment and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate with full ownership in a fully remote environment.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
  • Holds a valid Dex National Certification (DEX-PFN) or higher Portfolio-level Dex credential in the Sales & Customer Success domain.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience leading a marketing, creative, or professional services organization.
  • Experience scaling a remote or distributed team.
  • Experience building and developing leadership talent.
  • Experience with clear P&L or full market accountability.
